This is Raul Midon's third CD, his second CD State Of Mind, for me is his best(I recommend..if you are new to his music, you start with that cd first)and because of that CD, I have great respect for him as an artist. Due to that fact, I have given 4 stars rather than 3. Let's just say if this was his second CD, I would not have been excited as I was for his third to come out.I think his one is very personal and after the first two, I belive he wanted to use No.3 to express him slef more, by sing songs under his own personal tearms. Sometimes that works and sometimes it does not, like in this case, but that is ok, this is still a good CD if you are a fan(...plus it is still Lyricly Sound). So like all good artist, you can allow them to do so without giving up on them, once they go back to making more of the songs that made you love them. The stand out tracks that remind me of his last cd are (more so than the others)Pick Somebody Up, The More That I know and Save My Life, then you have All The Answers, Tembererana and Ain't Happen Yet. The one track that I don't like at all, not because it is a bad song, but because it is to close to the everyday R&B unlike the songs from his first cd...he uses the word Whack in the song.
